A Perfect Day for Mom!

Mother's Day looks to be great with warm temperatures and dry conditions.

MOLINE, Ill — Good evening!

Well, in terms of springtime weather, it doesn't get much better than this. And the good news is that there's more of this on the way...well sorta.

We saw high temperatures today in the mid-70s with abundant sunshine. Yes, it's been a little breezy but all and all, it's was a textbook springtime day in the Quad Cities.

Tonight we stay clear and quiet with lows around 50 degrees. Great night to open windows and take the free A/C. #Winning

Mother's Day is going to be warmer with highs pushing into the low to mid 80s. We will see sunshine through most of the day. By the evening hours, we may see a few pop-up showers and storms. This chance is extremely isolated, so not many will see the chance but if you do, should be quick!

Better rain chances arrive by Monday morning. We'll see widespread showers build through the morning and stick with us through the afternoon.

More rain chances look to arrive for the second half of the week.
